The T3-Workflow module is one of the main keys to:

more effective use of reach-stackers or other crane types
reduced handling time per container
increased data quality and real-time registration of container movements

Terminal employees receive their work orders from the Gate or back office through the workflow module directly on their mobile devices, either mounted truck PCs or handy tablet-pcs. Interaction between gate, back office, trucks, cranes and other roles is made extremely easy.

The user is presented sortable task lists with priorities, transaction types or other criteria, all in real-time. Terminal customers take advantage of real-time information and better data quality, reported by EDI or automated e-mail reports.

Special Online accounts for your customers give access to real-time stack and transaction information of their containers at multiple terminals. This will both strengthen your relationship with your customers and result in less helpdesk time.

Create tasks, even days before the physical movement will happen.

It saves terminal managers a lot of paper work and eliminates the necessity for a constant radio communication. Avoid misunderstandings and gain time!

T3 comes with a comprehensible Workflow function which interlinks terminal roles like Back office – Gate – Mobile cranes – Tallyman and STS- cranes.

The process supporting functionalities of the Workflow solution will without doubt improve the effectiveness of your terminal.

It eliminates unproductive administration work on paper or PC. Your terminal staff interacts in real-time regardless what role they have. All activities are handled as tasks (work orders) for reach stacker drivers, crane operators or tallymen.

Create tasks even days before the physical movement will happen. Then tasks just wait for execution in the task lists – paper lists become obsolete. The use of electronic task lists also reduces radio communication drastically.

The closure of a task automatically triggers a real-time update of reporting, EDI, invoicing and, where necessary, an automatic creation of the next logical task in the goods life cycle.

Terminal customers expect real-time information.

Our advanced EDI services connect your T3-application with your partners or your internal systems (freight forwarding, finance, booking, order management etc.).

We offer integrations based on international standard message types and of course also any proprietary message format, both in- and outbound. All sent and received EDI messages are archived and retrievable for you and also your integration partner. We store the original message content with the time stamp of the message generation and dispatch.

Automated Gate Solution

Gate Access

This is your gate keeper.

Administrate annual and daily access passes for drivers and vehicles. Invoicing of cards, ISPS certifications, courses and day access fees. GateAccess is fully synchronized with GateBooking. Combine with OCR or RFID.

The Gate Access Management System (GAMS) module allows the administration of ISPS certified personnel and trucks for multiple terminals. Trucking companies receive their own T3 account to administrate their trucks and personnel. The terminal manager then accepts these trucks and personnel in T3 for his own terminal. The admittance may depend on a successfully passed ISPS certification test or other criteria.

GAMS is the key to the unmanned gate operation. It enables you to carry out port access control on individually defined security levels either manually or fully automated by means like OCR, barcode, RFID, face recognition technology. Each element can be used separately or in combination to raise the security level.

Gate Booking

Avoid queues and waiting time at your gate.

Reduce the work load for gate personnel by using electronic readers and pre-registered information. All ISPS documentation is automatically accomplished – all fully paperless.

The GateBooking-ISPS module lets the transport company pre-notify arrivals or pickups of containers/trailers and general cargo at the terminal. This is done either by the trucking company via their T3 web account or by the terminal back-office on behalf of them.

The reservation of an available time slot at the terminal gate guaranties the truck driver a queue free in and out gate passage. A shorter turnaround time at the terminal means more gate passages for the terminal and more executed transport orders per day for the trucking company – a win-win situation for both parties!

Since 9/11 all cargo arriving at sea terminals needs to comply with the ISPS regulations, meaning that the establishment of a Cargo Security Documentation is mandatory. The T3 GateBooking-ISPS module solves this elegantly by automatically generating an electronic ISPS document alongside the normal Gate arrival time reservation.

All documents are automatically stored in T3 and can either be sent out by e-mail or be printed out. The electronic archive saves the environment for unnecessary use of paper and ink and makes it easy to search for a specific case.

This module even manages transport orders to your truck drivers, either by email or SMS.

A newly introduced feature lets the consignee confirm the reception of goods. Thanks to that the entire cargo life cycle is stored and retrievable for the terminal and authorized other parties.

The GateBooking-ISPS module is at the same time the connecting link between port terminals and hinterland terminals or for other combinations. Regardless if the goods are transported by truck, vessel or train, a gate-out transaction generates automatically a so called GateBooking at the receiving terminal, either via the T3-platform or by EDI. This avoids tedious double registration for cooperation partners and allows better resource planning.

It puts you in full control of the entire process from booking reservation on to loading. Let lines reserve online directly in your account and share progress status.

Administrate bookings from your depot customers (equipment reservations) directly in T3.

This feature allows you and your customers to plan empty stocks. Customers can submit reservations electronically via their own T3 Online account and therewith achieve full control of their booking status at any time.

Yard Planning

Maximize your storage utilization and attract more business on the same space.

Minimize internal travel time and distances for shorter turn-around times with less fuel consumption.

Define your own container storage yard with all available rows, cells and heights depending on container type, size, etc. Find your stored containers without searching and save time.

The Yard Planning & Control module significantly helps to reduce lift equipment usage. Another advantage is a much lower turnaround time per container. T3 automatically calculates the optimal yard placement of export containers based on several parameters like booking number, destination, size etc. The user is still free to overrule the system.

The graphical user interface for the Yard is also displayed directly in the web browser. The extensive search functions help you to effectively execute the yard housekeeping tasks. It empowers terminal managers to make corrections at the yard, create tasks for selected containers and get graphical results for any search.

Vessel Planning Tallyman

Plan your load or discharge lists directly in the very comprehensible graphical Vessel views.

Loading, discharging, shifting or transshipment can be managed directly in these views – like a game!

The fully graphical views let you easily load and unload vessels. You can rearrange load lists within seconds. Establish load, unload or shifting tasks by clicking the containers and keep track on task statuses during the entire process.

Vessel, Yard Planning & Control and the graphical Rail module work hand in hand. Mark containers to be loaded in the Vessel view and your Yard view will automatically show where to find them, in the right work order too.
Forget the old paper based load and discharge lists! It’s all in T3, ready to be executed.

Rail & Ro Ro

The Rail & Ro-Ro modules support these typical operations with the help of graphical views.

Rail module

Plan and work with your rail lists for the loading and discharging of containers and semi- trailers in graphical views and work surfaces.

Train sets can be composed manually or are imported by EDI together with the load information. The reservation of tracks based on fixed schedules or ad-hoc capacity needs is part of the planning features.

The T3 Rail module orchestrates the load- and discharge operations. Depending on if the cargo shall be transferred to another train, at stack or directly to a truck, T3 gives the user suitable instructions. The intelligent and reliable process steering puts effectiveness to a higher level.

General Cargo / Ro-Ro module

For multi-purpose terminals which do handle more than only containers, this module gives you the dimension to also administrate Bulk, Break-bulk and General Cargo. Additionally to this we also offer a Ro-Ro module to administrate trailers and semi- trailers with their specialties.

Both modules are fully embedded in the T3 application in order to give you tracking, reporting, EDI, Workflow, Invoicing and more functionality. A valuable option is the integration with your WMS to streamline stuffing and stripping operations from and to containers.
